Open the VPN dialog configure and enable camera's VPN settings.
In the current implementation the Camera supports only VPN connections to the mdex GmbH company.
|Enable / Disable||Enables or disable the VPN client.|
|Server Address||This is the address where the VPN client should connect to.|
|Server port||The port where the VPN Server is listen for incomming connections.|
|Comunication protocol||Depending on the VPN Server settings, you can choose UDP or TCP.|
|Set max fragment size in Bytes||UDP Only! Set the internal fragmentation to n Byte. This could help to prevent the fragmentation of UDP packets.|
|Set mssfix to n byte||UDP Only! Helps the TCP connection over the UDP tunnel to reduce the TCP packet size.|
|Set TUN device MTU in byte||Set the MTU of the used TUN device. This depends on the used connection type.|
|Enable or Disable mtu-test||This test could help to find out good mtu parameters. Use this not in normal operation mode.|
|VPN username||This is the VPN username delivered by mdex|
|VPN password||This is the VPN password delivered by mdex|
|Drop down button for logging level||
Click on the Set button to activate your settings and to save them until the next reboot of the camera.
Click on the Factory button to load the factory defaults for this dialog (this button may not be present in all dialogs).
Click on the Restore button to undo your most recent changes that have not been stored in the camera permanently.
Click on the Close button to close the dialog. While closing the dialog, the system checks the entire configuration for changes. If changes are detected, you will be asked if you would like to store the entire configuration permanently.
